Start of the Vendée Globe
With GO CIRCULAR, the Holcim-PRB team travels across the world and protects our oceans, calling for action to accelerate the transition to a more circular way of life. The Holcim-PRB IMOCA is equipped with a high tech OceanPack system. The objective is to collect scientific data while sailing. The data collected by the Holcim-PRB team is shared with several organizations worldwide and provides them valuable, real-time information. This enables them to offer an accurate picture of what is happening in the ocean and the critical role of ocean to maintain planet's health.
This essential data helps scientists fill the current gaps concerning two of the greatest threats to ocean health: the impact of climate change and plastic pollution.
The Holicm-PRB team
The Holcim-PRB Team, consisting of about fifteen people, is preparing for two major challenges: the 2024 Vendée Globe and The Ocean Race Europe 2025.
Each member brings their expertise, from logistics to communication, to ensure the performance of skippers Nicolas Lunven and Rosalin Kuiper. This collaboration embodies a collective effort to shine on the global sailing stage, combining passion and excellence in competition.
